Google now lets you have full conversations with Gemini for Home

Google is adding continued conversations to Gemini for Home, so users can keep talking after a reply without repeating “Hey Google.”

The feature keeps the microphone briefly active and preserves context across follow-up questions, making voice chats feel more natural.

It is rolling out across supported languages and regions through a manual opt-in in the Google Home app.

The update improves convenience for smart-home use, while also reviving familiar privacy and ambient-listening concerns.
