Heavy-duty robot takes over hazardous inspections at UAE gas plant

ADNOC Gas deployed Taurob’s heavy-duty inspection robot at the Taweelah Gas Compression Plant in the UAE.

The robot performs autonomous inspections, monitors plant conditions, and detects gas leaks, hot spots, and other hazards.

Equipped for hazardous industrial zones, it uses tools such as thermal imaging and 3D LiDAR to support safer operations.

The move highlights how industrial robotics can improve energy-sector safety, reliability, and predictive maintenance.
