Google Meet's AI note-taker is going IRL

At Cloud Next 2026, Google said Meet’s AI note-taker will also work in in-person meetings.

Users can transcribe conversations through the mobile app or web, with notes generated in Google Docs.

Google Drive is getting a Projects hub to collect selected files and emails in one place.

Google Sheets will add Gemini-powered, Smart Canvas-style interactive dashboards.

The update extends Google Workspace AI from online collaboration into face-to-face meetings and richer organization tools.
