New EV startups reshuffle in July: Leapmotor alone tops 100,000, while "Wei Xiao Li Mi" remain stuck in the 30,000 range - 36Kr

In a weak July auto market, deliveries among EV makers diverged sharply.

Leapmotor became the first new-energy startup to top 100,000 monthly deliveries, reaching 101,000 units.

HIMA delivered 45,000 vehicles but kept declining year over year, while Xpeng, Nio, Li Auto and Xiaomi stayed in the low-30,000 range.

Meanwhile, EV brands backed by legacy automakers such as BYD, Chery and Geely kept growing quickly in both sales and exports.

With more new models set to ramp deliveries from August, rankings and market shares may shift again.
