Altman shared the story on X; Weil wrote that Paul Conyngham used ChatGPT, AlphaFold, and Grok to develop a personalized mRNA vaccine protocol.

Paul Conyngham is an Australian AI consultant; his dog Rosie has incurable mast cell cancer and had healthy and tumor genomes sequenced at the Ramaciotti Centre at UNSW Sydney.

Conyngham identified a target protein and an already FDA‑approved substance and was simultaneously giving Rosie a PD‑1 inhibitor; PD‑1 inhibitors are considered among the most effective cancer immunotherapies.

There is no evidence the vaccine actually worked or that the AI‑assisted effort made any difference for Rosie.
