Anthropic is working on Orbit, its upcoming proactive assistant

Anthropic appears to be preparing Orbit, a proactive assistant for Claude and Claude Code.

The feature has surfaced as a settings toggle and seems designed to deliver time zone-aware briefings and actionable insights.

Orbit is expected to pull from connected apps such as Gmail, Slack, GitHub, Calendar, Drive, and Figma.

That would put Anthropic into the growing market for asynchronous AI briefing tools, competing with ChatGPT Pulse.

Its GitHub and Figma integrations could give it an edge for developer and creative workflows.
