New MacBook Neo With A19 Pro Chip and 12GB RAM Expected Next Year

Apple is planning to release a new MacBook Neo next year, according to Tim Culpan in the Culpium newsletter.

Culpan says the new MacBook Neo will use a version of the A19 Pro chip from iPhone 17 Pro models and include 12GB of unified RAM.

Culpan expects Apple will use a 'binned' A19 Pro with a 5-core GPU for the MacBook Neo.

The iPhone 17 Pro's A19 Pro has a 6-core GPU; the current MacBook Neo uses an A18 Pro, a 5-core GPU and 8GB RAM.

DigiTimes reports MacBook Neo assembly occurs in China and Vietnam; Culpan says Apple is in talks with suppliers to boost production.
