IKEA Just Leaked Its Brightest Smart Light Yet, the Langdmatt

IKEA’s Langdmatt pendant lamp has surfaced in an FCC filing, revealing a new smart ceiling light.

The 23.5W lamp is rated at about 3,000 lumens and supports Bluetooth Low Energy, Thread, and Zigbee.

That multi-protocol setup points to likely Matter support and compatibility with major platforms like Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Philips Hue.

Pricing and launch timing are still unknown, but the leak suggests IKEA is pushing brighter, cross-platform smart lighting at an affordable level.
