Gemini-powered Live Translate for headphones officially sheds its Android exclusivity

Google announced expansion of Live Translate for headphones to iOS blog post stated Live Translate with headphones is arriving on iOS.

Live Translate feature expanded availability to more countries now available in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Thailand, and the UK.

Feature rollout previously was exclusive to Android had helped Android users with on-the-go translations since last year.

User instructions users must connect headphones and tap the Live Translate icon in Google Translate select Listening or Conversation to start Gemini-powered translation.

Google Translate app includes Gemini-powered Live Translate for headphones in recent builds, feature may not appear immediately for all users despite having latest build.
