Domestic Carbon Fiber Breaks the High-End Barrier: Sinotech's 5,000-Ton Aerospace-Grade Capacity and T1100-Class Technology Reach the International Frontier

Shenzhen-listed Sinotech said it has reached 5,000 tons of annual capacity and achieved T1100-class aerospace carbon fiber performance.

The company says the result was achieved on both key production routes: wet spinning and dry-jet wet spinning.

This is a rare domestic breakthrough in a market where China still relies on imports for aerospace-grade carbon fiber.

The advance could strengthen import substitution and help China capture more value in the high-end composites market.
