Jinjiang Literature City publicly accused Tomato Free Novel of hosting large amounts of content that appears to ride on the IP of its popular original works.

It said the platform may be profiting by using similar titles, overlapping character names, and timing tied to screen adaptations to attract traffic.

Works cited in the dispute include cases resembling The Dog Bone, Zhuyu, Honey Words, and Sniper Butterfly.

Jinjiang said it has begun legal action and is demanding that Tomato Free Novel conduct a self-review and make corrections.
