Thermalright Launches AI HydroNous R1, Featuring Water-Cooled Ryzen AI Max+ 395-Based Mini PC

Thermalright unveiled the AI HydroNous R1, a 2.6-liter mini PC built around AMD’s 16-core Ryzen AI Max+ 395.

The company pairs Strix Halo with a custom liquid-cooling system and raises the chip’s power limit from 120W to 176W.

The compact vertical system includes a 4.6-inch LCD, 10GbE Ethernet, dual USB4 ports, and Radeon 8060S graphics.

A later report says it may ship with 128GB of RAM, 2TB of storage, and a price of 23,990 yuan ($3,500).

The launch highlights how vendors are pushing AMD’s platform into higher-power mini PCs for desktop-like performance.
