Tesla AI5 AI Chip Taped Out, Elon Musk Shares First Pictures & Confirms AI6 & Dojo3 In Works

Tesla says it has successfully taped out its AI5 chip, and Elon Musk shared photos of the package.

AI5 is described as the next-generation FSD chip, designed for higher compute and memory than current hardware.

Tesla is also working on AI6 and Dojo3, signaling a broader push into in-house AI hardware.

The company expects AI5 to move into volume production at TSMC and Samsung in late 2026 or early 2027.
