WhatsApp support for CarPlay is right around the corner

WhatsApp is testing a dedicated CarPlay app that is currently available only to iOS beta users via TestFlight.

The CarPlay app shows a chat list of recent conversations from about the past 20–25 days and lets users view contact and call info.

The app restricts opening full chat threads while driving and allows beta users to provide feedback through TestFlight.
