Intel Just Launched Its MacBook Neo Competitor: Wildcat Lake for Everyday PCs

Intel unveiled Wildcat Lake, its first Core Series 3 laptop processor on the 18A process, aimed at affordable everyday PCs.

The chip reuses Panther Lake-inspired CPU, GPU, and NPU designs and targets up to 40 TOPS of AI performance for Copilot+ and Windows AI PCs.

It is designed for thinner, lower-cost laptops with better battery life and modern connectivity, including Thunderbolt 4 and Wi‑Fi 7.

Intel says Wildcat Lake should improve performance and efficiency over older Core Series 1 chips while keeping platform costs down with simpler designs.
