I/O 2026 Is Bringing More AI To Google Play

Google announced Ask Play at I/O 2026, an AI overlay that helps users find apps in Google Play using natural language.

The company is also broadening Play Games Sidekick, adding friend and achievement details for more supported games.

Together, the updates make Play Store discovery easier and move Android gaming features closer to Apple’s Game Center experience.
