High school defends staying silent while boys made AI nudes of 59 classmates

Lancaster Country Day School in Pennsylvania is seeking to dismiss a lawsuit over how it handled AI-generated nude images of students.

The school says the tip from the state attorney general’s office was too vague, did not identify victims, and should count as law enforcement.

Plaintiffs say the school stayed silent for months, discouraged reporting to police, and allowed abuse to continue.

The case could help define how child-protection and mandatory-reporting laws apply to AI deepfakes and school liability.
