KPN launches sovereign cloud with STACKIT in the Netherlands

KPN and Schwarz Digits are teaming up to launch a sovereign cloud for the Dutch market through STACKIT.

The service will run on KPN data-center infrastructure in the Netherlands and target government, finance, healthcare, and energy customers.

Built on open-source-based technology, it emphasizes European data storage and processing, portability, and interoperability.

The Dutch version is expected in mid-2027, alongside broader STACKIT availability in Germany and Austria.
