Taylor Farms pulls iceberg lettuce from the US market after cyclosporiasis outbreak

Taylor Farms is voluntarily recalling all iceberg lettuce sourced from central Mexico after FDA traceback work linked an independent farm in the region to a Cyclospora outbreak.

The shredded lettuce was distributed to customers including Taco Bell and Sysco, and illnesses have been reported across multiple states.

Investigators are still looking for additional affected products and sales channels as the outbreak continues.

The recall highlights food safety and traceability gaps in a large U.S. Cyclospora outbreak involving thousands of illnesses.
