Google will let some Chromebooks transition into a Googlebook experience soon

Google says some existing Chromebooks will be able to move to Googlebook through a firmware update.

The company has not yet released device eligibility lists or a rollout timeline.

Chromebooks that do not switch will stay on ChromeOS and keep their promised update support.

Google says consumer rollouts will come before education and enterprise deployments.
