Two new Macs might skip M5 chips and go straight to M6

Bloomberg reports Apple may skip the base M5 in upcoming desktop Macs.

The next Mac mini is said to be in testing with M6 and M5 Pro options.

A refreshed iMac is also expected to launch with M6, not M5.

If accurate, Apple would be accelerating its desktop Mac chip roadmap and shifting buyer upgrade timing.
