New platform combines sensor data and plant history for faster nuclear alarm response

Arizona-based nuclear software company Nuclearn has launched Equipment AI for equipment diagnosis and alarm response.

The platform combines live equipment data with maintenance records, operator logs, condition reports, design documents, and procedures.

Nuclearn says the product is already being used at several plants and is ready for commercial deployment.

By centralizing plant history and operational data, the tool aims to reduce alarm fatigue and speed up decisions.

It is also intended to support reliability and help utilities manage workforce gaps as experienced staff retire.
