Modular 20 MW Orion electrolyzer to accelerate industrial hydrogen scaling

Hystar unveiled Orion, a modular 20 MW PEM electrolyzer cluster for scalable green hydrogen production.

The company says Orion can run efficiently across a wide range of output levels, helping improve uptime and flexibility.

Hystar also announced a partnership with McDermott on a 100 MW plant layout based on the Orion system.

The standardized design targets key barriers in green hydrogen: high costs, difficult scaling, and slow industrial deployment.
