Qualcomm says its new Snapdragon chips will have less lag on mid-range Android phones

Qualcomm unveiled Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 for mid-range Android phones.

The chips add faster GPUs, better connectivity, and Smooth Motion UI to reduce lag, app-launch time, and screen stutter.

Qualcomm says the upgrades should make affordable phones feel smoother in everyday use and gaming.

Upcoming devices from brands like Honor, Redmi, Oppo, Realme, Moto G, and Nothing Phone A-series are expected to use the new chips.
