Can AI robots work alongside humans? Siemens and NVIDIA trial a humanoid robot

Siemens, Nvidia, and UK robotics firm Humanoid tested the HMND 01 humanoid robot at Siemens’ Erlangen electronics plant.

The robot autonomously moved containers for more than eight hours and completed over 90% of its assigned tasks.

The live factory trial showed how AI-powered robots could safely work alongside humans in routine logistics.

The results point to a future of more adaptive factories and reduced reliance on labor-intensive physical prototyping.
