Android 17 spotted with a new feature… separate 'priority' settings for family and work notifications

Code in Android 17 beta 3 suggests Google is testing notification rules for specific apps or contacts.

The feature may include mute, block, grouped mute, highlight, and highlight-then-alert options.

If widely released, it could help users surface family or work messages while quieting routine alerts.
