Gmission strengthens VLM OCR patent and design strategy…global push

Gmission was selected for the 2026 second-half Patent-Design Integrated IP-R&D Strategic Support Program backed by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and KISTA.

The company plans to secure patents for its VLM-based OCR technology and develop BI, designs, and trademark filings.

It will also build a broader IP portfolio to strengthen its position in AI document processing.

The move is aimed at boosting global expansion and competitiveness through a unified IP strategy.
