Google offers researchers early access to Willow quantum processor

Google opened applications for an Early Access Program to let researchers use its Willow quantum processor.

Proposals must be anonymized and are due by May 15, 2026, with selections by July 1.

Selected teams must include a dedicated Ph.D. candidate or postdoc and design experiments beyond classical simulation.

Google will limit access to selected teams and will evaluate proposals on feasibility within Willow's hardware constraints and potential scientific advances.
