Roblox unveiled Roblox Reality, an in-development graphics system that uses real-time game data plus AI-generated video to create more photorealistic multiplayer scenes.

Unlike local upscaling tools, the system runs on cloud servers and may render slightly different transient details for different players.

Roblox said it expects a rollout in late 2026 or early 2027, signaling a major shift toward AI-generated game visuals.

The company also reported Q1 2026 results showing slower engagement after child-safety changes, and its shares fell more than 20%.
