Nest app is down, Google is working on a fix (Updated)

Google’s Nest app went down or started malfunctioning for users in the US, Canada and the UK.

Downdetector logged nearly 1,000 reports as complaints spread across social media and Reddit.

Google said it was aware of the issue and was working on a fix.

The outage disrupted smart-home controls for many users, with some turning to Google Home as a workaround.
