Sipeed crams 32GB LPDDR5 and a 60 TOPS NPU into a compact RISC-V board that hits 15 tokens/s on Qwen-3.5 35B AI LLMs

Sipeed, with SPACEMIT, launched the K3 series of compact RISC-V single-board computers built on the Key Stone K3 chip.

The boards offer up to 32GB LPDDR5 memory, a 60 TOPS NPU, and a range of I/O options in a small Pico-ITX-style form factor.

Sipeed says the K3 can run local AI workloads, including large models like Qwen-3.5 35B at up to 15 tokens per second.

Pricing starts around $299, positioning the K3 as a relatively affordable edge-AI option compared with products like Jetson Orin Nano.
