JD.com Launches “Robot Ambulance” Service, Targets 50 Cities in Three Years

JD.com has launched a “robot ambulance” repair and maintenance service for humanoid, quadruped, and AI companion robots.

The service starts in Beijing, with plans to expand to more than 50 Chinese cities within three years and then to Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

JD.com is partnering with robotics firms and expanding its robotics engineering workforce to build a larger after-sales network.

The move signals an early push to capture demand in the growing consumer and enterprise robotics market.
