A Croatian startup, Uber, and Pony.ai are bringing a commercial robotaxi service to Europe

Croatian startup Verne has partnered with Uber and Pony.ai to prepare a European robotaxi service.

The first rollout is planned for Zagreb, with vehicles already in testing and no launch date announced yet.

Pony.ai will supply the autonomous driving system, while Verne will run the fleet and handle regulatory approvals.

Uber will provide its ride-hailing platform and investment, underscoring a new commercial robotaxi push into Europe.
