NVIDIA Taps Taiwanese Nanya Technology’s LPDDR5X Memory for Vera Rubin Platform, Offering 3x Capacity and Over 50% Bandwidth Boost

NVIDIA is reportedly adding Taiwan’s Nanya Technology as an LPDDR5X supplier for its Vera Rubin AI platform.

This would make Nanya the first Taiwanese maker to join NVIDIA’s AI server main-memory supply chain.

Vera Rubin is said to offer about 3x the memory capacity and more than 50% higher bandwidth than Grace Blackwell.

The move broadens NVIDIA’s supply chain as demand rises for next-generation AI memory.
