JCB’s 1,600 hp Hydromax aims to become the world’s fastest hydrogen-powered car ever

JCB unveiled Hydromax, a 32-foot hydrogen streamliner designed to top 350 mph at Bonneville.

The twin-engine car uses a 1,600 hp hydrogen combustion setup, ice cooling, and parachute braking.

Testing will start in the UK before record attempts in Utah, with Andy Green and Lee Harper involved.

If successful, the project could showcase hydrogen combustion as a viable high-performance alternative for motorsport and industry.
