A bear bit him from behind while he was glued to his phone… the perilous moment of a distracted tourist

On Romania’s Transfăgărășan mountain road, a tourist was slightly bitten on the leg and thigh by a wild bear that approached from behind while he was focused on his phone.

He did not notice the attack right away, and only fled to a car after a following vehicle tried to drive the bear away.

No serious injury was reported, but the incident highlights how inattentiveness near wildlife can quickly turn dangerous.
