Eric Kripke said Gen V’s Marie Moreau is powerful, but not yet ready to take on Homelander.

He argued that Marie is still young and has not fully learned to control her abilities, making a direct fight too dangerous.

Kripke said a future season would have shown more of Marie’s training and growth.

He also stressed that Gen V was never meant to fully wrap up its characters’ stories.
