Alexa for Shopping is a chatty new AI assistant with some cool tricks to make you spend at Amazon

Amazon has launched Alexa for Shopping for U.S. users across the shopping app, Amazon.com, and Echo Show devices.

The assistant combines Rufus and Alexa+ personalization to use purchase history, browsing behavior, preferences, and conversations.

It can compare products, send price alerts, suggest reorders, and help build carts more quickly.

The move aims to make shopping more convenient and personalized while keeping more buying inside Amazon’s ecosystem.
