China Launches Synthetic Human Embryos to Space Station

China has sent stem-cell-based synthetic human embryo samples to the Tiangong space station aboard Tianzhou-10.

The embryos will be monitored for five days in two developmental setups, then frozen and returned to Earth for comparison with ground controls.

Researchers aim to learn how microgravity affects the earliest stages of human development.

The findings could help guide future long-duration space missions and research into reproduction beyond Earth.
