Google is testing an early Android “Tap to Share” interface for phone-to-phone sharing.

The feature uses two unlocked phones placed together, with a glow animation and on-screen instructions.

It appears tied to Quick Share and may support contacts, files, links, media, and locations.

Support could extend to Samsung devices, making Android sharing feel closer to Apple’s NameDrop.
