Apple Subsidiary Fined Over $500,000 for Breaching Russian Sanctions

Apple's Irish subsidiary ADI paid Okko LLC £635,618 in June and July 2022 while Okko was under UK sanctions.

The Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation said the payments were routed through UK banks and were voluntarily disclosed by ADI.

The UK fined ADI £390,000 (about $516,110) and said companies remain responsible for their own sanctions compliance.
