AMD announces the “Ryzen 7 7700X3D,” revives the 5800X3D as a 10th-anniversary model, and also signals an extension of AM5 support

AMD announced the Ryzen 7 7700X3D with 3D V-Cache, alongside a 10th-anniversary return of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

The company also said it will extend Socket AM5 support through 2029, strengthening platform longevity for upgraders.

AMD additionally revealed a global rollout for the Radeon RX 9070 GRE and upcoming EXPO Ultra Low Latency memory support.

The moves reinforce AMD’s gaming-focused lineup while making AM5 a more durable choice for buyers.
