XYZ Embodied AI Launches BotPack B Series Edge Computing Backpack

XYZ Embodied AI unveiled the BotPack B Series at Hannover Messe in Germany, a lightweight edge-computing backpack for robots.

The B5 and B4 models use NVIDIA chips to run AI models locally on quadruped and humanoid robots, including the Unitree G1.

The backpack supports 10G Ethernet, 5G, and Wi‑Fi 7, giving robots broader on-site connectivity.

By bringing compute onboard, the system can reduce latency, lower cloud dependence, and expand embodied AI deployments.
