Grok AI Voice Mode Arrives on Apple CarPlay

Grok Voice mode is now available on Apple CarPlay, letting drivers use the AI chatbot handsfree from supported vehicles.

SpaceXAI added the feature after Apple’s iOS 26.4 update enabled select third-party voice conversational apps on CarPlay.

The rollout extends in-car AI access beyond iPhone and Tesla, while highlighting Apple’s tighter approval rules for CarPlay apps.

It also signals a broader opening for approved voice chatbots like ChatGPT and Perplexity on the dashboard.
