Box Agent now generally available for enterprise content

Box made the Box Agent generally available for Enterprise Plus and Enterprise Advanced customers.

The AI tool uses models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google to search, analyze, and generate documents from enterprise files while honoring existing permissions.

Admins can configure custom agents in Box AI Studio, and some Office format creation remains in beta on Enterprise Advanced.

Supported outputs include Box Notes, Word, PDF, Excel, and PowerPoint and use cases span legal, procurement, sales, and marketing.
