Uber partners with Expedia, announces new features including in-app hotel booking 'Hotels on Uber'

Uber is expanding its super-app strategy with a new Expedia partnership for in-app hotel bookings and more travel tools.

At its GO-GET 2026 event, Uber also announced Travel Mode, international Uber One perks, and an AI cart builder for shopping.

New add-ons include preordered snacks for rides and a “Shop for Me” concierge service, aiming to make trips and errands more seamless.

The move pushes Uber further beyond rides and food delivery into trip planning, shopping, and broader travel services.
