Anthropic tests restrictions on Claude Code in Pro subscription

Anthropic briefly tested removing Claude Code from its $20 Pro plan for some new sign-ups.

Existing Pro users were unaffected, and Claude Code remained available in the higher-priced Max plan.

After developer backlash and confusion over the pricing page, Anthropic restored Claude Code to Pro.

Anthropic said any future subscription changes will be announced in advance.
