Archaeologists have found 80 tons of stones under the sea. Everything points to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World

Archaeologists and divers have recovered massive stone blocks from the seabed off Alexandria.

The blocks appear to belong to the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

The finds are helping researchers rebuild parts of the monument and reassess its original size and shape.

The underwater work is refining long-held ideas about the lighthouse’s design, scale, and engineering.
