After smart glasses, Meta apparently wants you to wear its all-listening AI pendant

Meta is reportedly testing an AI-powered pendant wearable over the next year.

The device would continuously listen to nearby conversations and ambient audio, then generate transcripts, summaries, and reminders.

The plan follows Meta’s 2025 acquisition of AI startup Limitless, whose Pendant product did similar audio capture.

Meta is also said to be working on new smart glasses and other wearables, even as Reality Labs continues to post heavy losses.

The reported move points to a broader AI wearables strategy, but it raises fresh privacy concerns.
