With Stupid Never Dies, Capcom veteran Kobayashi is relishing the chance to build his bonkers zombie action game

Capcom veteran Hiroyuki Kobayashi is unveiling a new original IP, Stupid Never Dies, with his Osaka studio GPTRACK50.

The game is a run-based dungeon action RPG starring a zombie named Davy, built around aggressive combat, multiple fighting styles, and progression.

Kobayashi is best known for Resident Evil, Devil May Cry, Dino Crisis, P.N.03, and Killer7, making this a return to original IP creation.

Developed by a small team with outside contractors, the project is aimed at core action players and Western markets.
